In 2024, the crop area was by 2.1 per cent bigger than in 2023 – 2 million 243.4 thousand ha.

Based on preliminary revised data, in 2024, the economic output of agricultural activities amounted to EUR 3,98 billion and, compared to 2023, increased by 0.3 per cent.

During the period of 2019–2024, the number of Lithuanian fishing vessels decreased by 1.2 per cent. The most significant decrease (58 per cent) was observed for vessels with the length of 25–41 meters, dropping from 24 pieces (in 2019) to 10 pieces (in 2024).

In April 2025, the minimum monthly wage is EUR 1,038, the minimum hourly pay – EUR 6.35.

At the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, 27.2 thousand teachers and school leaders worked in general education schools, or by 111 teachers less than in the 2023-2024 academic year.
