Earnings in the whole economy in IV guarter 2020In IV quarter 2020, gross earnings in the whole economy increased by 4.8 per cent.

In IV quarter 2020, average gross (before employee taxes) monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) totalled EUR 1,524.2 and, compared to III quarter 2020, grew by 4.8 per cent: in the public sector, average gross monthly earnings totalled EUR 1,686.8 (increased by 9.1 per cent), in the private sector – EUR 1,450.7 (increased by 2.6 per cent). In IV quarter 2020, the unemployment rate stood at 9 per cent

In IV quarter 2020, the unemployment rate stood at 9 per cent. The male unemployment rate stood at 9.7, female – 8.4 per cent. In IV quarter 2020, the youth (persons aged 15–24) unemployment rate stood at 19.2 per cent and over a quarter decreased by 3.9 percentage points.

In IV quarter 2020, there were 134.5 thousand unemployed persons, which is by 2.7 thousand less than in III quarter. The number of the long-term unemployed over a quarter decreased by 1.9 thousand and totalled 36.8 thousand. In IV quarter 2020, the number of the unemployed aged 15–24 amounted to 20.1 thousand. More

In III quarter 2020, the unemployment rate stood at 9.3 per cent

In III quarter 2020, the unemployment rate stood at 9.3 per cent and, against II quarter 2020, it increased by 0.8 percentage points, against the respective period of 2019 – by 3.2 percentage points.

The male unemployment rate stood at 9.7, female – 8.8 per cent. In III quarter 2020, the youth (persons aged 15–24) unemployment rate stood at 23.1 per cent; over a quarter, it increased by 2 percentage points, over a year – by 12.6 percentage points. More
