In March 2024, against February, the economic sentiment indicator, i.e. confidence of economic actors – producers, consumers and investors – in Lithuania’s economy, increased from -8.9 to -6.6 per cent.
In January 2024, the turnover (VAT excluded) of service enterprises amounted to EUR 3 billion 235 million at current prices, and against December 2023, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 4.9 per cent at constant prices.
Cumulative foreign direct investment (FDI) in Lithuania rose by 11 per cent over the year and amounted to EUR 33.2 billion as of 31 December 2023.
In 2023, the number of children delivered to the police institutions totalled 317, or by 10.5 per cent less than in 2022. Just over three quarters – 76.7 per cent – of all juveniles delivered to the police institutions were children aged 16-17.
