• At the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, 477.4 thousand pupils and students, or almost every sixth Lithuanian resident, were studying in the country's educational institutions.

The share of economic entities with at least one employed person in March  2024, compared to the same period in  2023, increased by 6.14 per cent.

In March 2024, there were 178 road traffic accidents in which people were injured, which is by  3.3 per cent  less than in the same period of 2023, it was also by 11.9 per cent fewer injured and by 33.3 per cent less deaths.

In March 2024, the number of passengers who arrived at and departed from Lithuanian airports amounted to 446.2 thousand, which is by 6.1 per cent more than in the same period last year.

In February 2024, against the same period of 2023, passenger transport by rail increased by 18.1 per cent, passenger-kilometres grew by 25.3 per cent.
