Representatives from Lithuania participate in the plenary session of the Conference of European Statisticians

Today, the most important event of the year for the official statistics community begins – the seventieth plenary session of the Conference of European Statisticians (CES). An extremely busy two-day agenda, including discussions on the fundamental principles of official statistics, modernization, changing role in data governance, poverty measurement issues, strategic directions in spatial date use, matters of cooperation with private data controllers and other major strategic topics of state statistics, has been foreseen for the coming days. All these items are also incredibly important for Statistics Lithuania, based on the design of changes in Lithuanian statistics and state data governance.
