Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
GNI inventory mission
On February 28–March 3, a gross national income (GNI) inventory takes place at Statistics Lithuania. Eurostat's representatives will check and assess the compliance of the estimation of Lithuania's GDP and GNI to the EU legislation. The quality of estimation of the said microeconomic indicators is of major importance since they serve as a basis for establishing member states' contributions to the EU budget.
