Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Azerbaijan Statisticians’ Study Visit
On 20-23 November, Statistics Lithuania enjoys the opportunity to accept representatives from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the course of the study visit, specialists of Statistics Lithuania are exchanging good practice on the implementation of requirements of the quality management systems standard ISO 9001:2015. It is encouraging to note that the following highly topical issues, both for the guests and for our national statisticians, are planned to be discussed during the aforementioned training (i.e. educational) visit: quality policy and target establishment and fulfilment, process and risk management, organisation and performance of internal audits for quality management systems, management of discrepancies, measurement and analysis of quality indicators, management of change, organisation of statistical consumer surveys and assessment of consumer satisfaction with statistical services, preparation of documentation of the quality management system and ensuring its relevance, etc.
