Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Project in Azerbaijan has come to an end
Dr. Jūratė Petrauskienė, Director General of Statistics Lithuania, is visiting Baku (Azerbaijan) where the closing conference of the project “EU support to the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SSC) to reach European standards” is currently held.
6 experts from Statistics Lithuania were closely involved and took an active part in this project: they consulted the SSC employees on the issues of statistical quality, international classifications, regional data, short-term statistics production, business registers and calculation of index of service prices. The aforementioned project lasted for two years. Apart from Lithuanian experts, specialists from Germany, the Netherlands, Bulgaria were engaged in the implementation of the goals stated therein. The Project was carried out by ICON-Institute.
