Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Meeting on the ESSnet Project
On 7 February, a meeting on the Project ESSnet on Quality of Multisource Statistics takes place at Statistics Lithuania. Director of Social Statistics (Statistics Denmark) Niels Plough is coordinator of the Project. The meeting is focused on the methodology for quality indicators of lists of sources used for social statistics and evaluation of accuracy of statistical output based on multisource statistics. The discussion covers the work performed and preparation of final report on the Project's first stage which will be completed in April.
