Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international  scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.

The United Nations General Assembly endorsed the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics

Mr. Stefan Schweinfest, Acting Director of the United Nations Statistics Division circulated a letter (PDF) informing the global statistical community that on 29 January 2014 the United Nations General Assembly endorsed the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics, which guide the production and dissemination of all official Statistics around the globe. This is an historic moment for the global statistical system.

During the upcoming United Nations Statistical Commission session in New York (3–7 March, 2014) the High Level Forum will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Fundamental Principles and their endorsement by the General Assembly.
