Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Study visit of specialists of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia
On 10–12 October, TAIEX study visit for specialists of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia on data integration of administrative sources for statistical purposes is organized in cooperation with Statistics Lithuania.
The aim of the study visit is to facilitate the use of administrative sources for producing statistics at Statistics Lithuania, to focus on data integration from different sources, available statistical methods and IT tools when using multiple sources, and to introduce the work of the Statistics Lithuania in the assessment and quality. During this study visit, participating parties exchange experience on the use of administrative data in the process of statistical production, discuss quality assessment of administrative data, confidentiality and disclosure control issues.
Experts of Statistics Lithuania present the administrative data sources used by Statistics Lithuania in various statistical fields as well as the novelty – crisis-inspired transformation in Statistics Lithuania: the State Data Governance Information System (SDG IS).
