Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Study visit of statistics specialists from Tajikistan
On 13–15 December, Statistics Lithuania hosts a study visit of specialists from the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan (Tajstat). During the visit, one group of Tadjik specialists will discuss SDMX usage, the other group – ensuring data quality in publications and on the website.
IT specialists will discuss SDMX architecture and Data Wizard, as well as preparation of data according to data structure definition and standard reference metadata structure. Other Tajstat specialists will be familiarized with statistical information dissemination principles of Statistics Lithuania, the Official Statistics Portal, use of social networks and other dissemination measures.
