Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Handover Meeting of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council Working Party on Statistics
On 18 December 2013, the handover meeting of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council Working Party on Statistics was held at Statistics Lithuania in Vilnius. Delegations from Ireland and the incoming Greece Trio Presidencies, as well as from the Commission (Eurostat) attended the meeting.
The meeting included an official morning session, where all delegations had the chance to inform and be informed about the work of the Council Working Party and the legislative files discussed from July 2012 until end December 2013 under the Lithuanian Presidency as well as the plans of the incoming Greek Presidency. Additionally, the outgoing and the incoming Presidencies shared their experiences and discussed the practicalities of holding the Presidency.
