Questions and answers
Pursuant to Article 15 of the Law on Official Statistics and State Data Governance of the Republic of Lithuania*:

The statistical data obtained from publicly available sources which, in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, are available to the public shall not be considered confidential.

Confidential statistical data may be used exclusively for the purposes of official statistics, except as provided for in paragraph 3 of this Article.

Unless otherwise provided for by legal acts of the European Union, confidential statistical data may be used for purposes other than official statistics:
1) When the respondent and/or the statistical unit authorises in writing the dissemination of its data;
2) In the cases referred to in Article 17(4) and (5) of this Law. - The following data of a statistical unit (except for a household, a natural person) shall not be considered confidential:
1) Code;
2) Title;
3) Kind of economic activity;
4) Institutional sector;
5) Form of ownership;
6) Production according to the list of products of the European Economic Community (PRODCOM) and income for it.
