Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The Combined Nomenclature (CN) was developed following Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff. It is annually updated and published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The Combined Nomenclature serves as a basis for the calculation of import (export) duties and taxes, as well as for the accumulation of data on goods used for the compilation of trade statistics of the Community.

Integrated Tariff of the Republic of Lithuania (LITAR)

The Integrated Tariff of the Republic of Lithuania (LITAR) is a set of information on EU tariff measures and national taxes and some import and export restrictions and prohibitions, compiled and managed as a computerised database.

LITAR is administered and used in accordance with the procedure set by the Director General of the Customs Department.
