2024-12-19 Gross domestic product by region in 2023 The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) has estimated regional GDP for 2023 on the basis of provisional annual information. In 2024, benchmark and annual (routine) revisions of national accounts indicators have been carried out, and the time series of the regional accounts indicators from 2000 onwards have been recalculated accordingly. The revision had an impact on the nominal values of the regional aggregates, but the relative distributions by region and county changed only slightly as the regionalisation methods remained essentially unchanged.

The overall price change was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for refined petroleum products (3.5 per cent), as well as by a decrease in prices for rubber and plastic products (1.1 per cent).

This was mainly influenced by a price growth recorded for heat energy, fuels and lubricants, other appliances, articles and products for personal care, vegetables, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery, as well as by a price drop observed for clothing and footwear, package holidays, glassware, tableware and household utensils, accommodation.
