At the end of 2023, there were 283 children deprived of parental care in infant and children care homes (of them 40 were aged 18 and older), or around a quarter less than in the same period in 2022.

In March 2024, the number of overnight stays in the accommodation establishments totalled 549.6 thousand, which is by 3.8 per cent more than in March 2023.

In April 2024, against March, the economic sentiment indicator, i.e. confidence of economic actors – producers, consumers and investors – in Lithuania’s economy, increased from -6.6 to -4.6 per cent.

At the end of March 2024, central government debt totalled EUR 28.8 billion, which is by 12 per cent more than in the same period of 2023.
