In January 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, the share of passenger transport by rail increased by 5 per cent, the turnover of passenger transport grew by 8.5 per cent.

In February 2025, the number of passengers who arrived at and departed from Lithuanian airports amounted to 429.2 thousand, which is by 15.4 per cent more than in the same period last year.

In February 2025, the amount of goods handled in Klaipėda State Seaport and Būtingė Terminal totalled 3.6 million tonnes and, compared to the respective period of 2024, increased by 15 per cent.

In January 2025, the volume of construction work carried out in the country amounted to EUR 325.5 million at current prices, and against December 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 4.1 per cent, calendar adjusted, by 8.3 per cent more than in the same period of 2024.

In January 2025, average gross (before employee taxes) monthly earnings (individual enterprises excluded) in the whole economy amounted to EUR 2,345.4 and, against the same period of 2024, increased by 9.6 per cent.

2025-03-12 Changes in prices for industrial production sold In February 2025, against January 2025, prices for the total industrial production sold increased by 0.2 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – 0.6 per cent. The overall price change was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.9 per cent), as well as by a decrease in prices for refined petroleum products (1.4 per cent).
