2025-06-10 Changes in prices for industrial production sold Prices for the total industrial production sold decreased for the third consecutive month – in May 2025, against April 2025, they dropped by 0.7 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – 0.2 per cent. The overall price change was mainly influenced by a decrease in prices for refined petroleum products (3.1 per cent), as well as by increase in prices for other non-metallic mineral products (1.5 per cent).

This was mainly influenced by a decrease in prices for heat energy, fuels and lubricants, vegetables, motor cars, as well as an increase in prices for meat and meat products, accommodation services, non-durable household articles, fish and seafood, bread and cereal products.
2025-06-09 International trade in goods in April 2025 In April 2025, exports of goods amounted to EUR 3.01 billion, imports – EUR 3.59 billion. Exports of goods of Lithuanian origin amounted to EUR 2.01 billion. The international trade in goods deficit amounted to EUR 575 million. Over the month (April 2025, against March 2025) exports decreased by 7.6, imports – 9.2 per cent. The decrease in exports was influenced by the decrease in exports of mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation (29.3 per cent), fertilizers (42.2 per cent), tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (64.6 per cent). The decrease in imports was determined by the decrease in imports of mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation (15.5 per cent), ground vehicles (12.8 per cent), electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof (10.1 per cent). Mineral products excluded, exports decreased by 3.3 per cent, imports – 7.8 per cent. Exports of goods of Lithuanian origin decreased by 9.9 per cent, mineral products excluded – 5.5 per cent.
2025-06-03 Earnings in regions and municipalities In I quarter 2025, gross earnings gap between regions was EUR 459 In I quarter 2025, in the Capital Region, average gross monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) amounted to EUR 2,592.1 and, compared to IV quarter 2024, increased by 1.3 per cent. In the Central and Western Lithuania Region, gross earnings amounted to EUR 2,132.7 and, over a quarter, decreased by 1 per cent. In I quarter 2025, gross earnings gap between these regions was EUR 459 and, over a quarter, increased by EUR 54.
2025-05-30 Gross domestic product second estimate In I quarter 2025, the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to EUR 18.7 billion at current prices. The estimate was obtained through application of econometric models based on available statistical data. Compared to IV quarter 2024, the real GDP change, seasonally and calendar adjusted, was positive and stood at 0.4 per cent.
