During the period of 2019–2024, the number of Lithuanian fishing vessels decreased by 1.2 per cent. The most significant decrease (58 per cent) was observed for vessels with the length of 25–41 meters, dropping from 24 pieces (in 2019) to 10 pieces (in 2024).

In 2024, citizens of the Republic of Lithuania adopted 56 children (in 2023, 54), foreign citizens – 5 children (in 2023, 6).

Based on provisional data, at the beginning of April 2025, 2 million 889 thousand residents were living in Lithuania, which is by 0.8 thousand less than at the beginning of 2025.

In 2024, the crop area was by 2.1 per cent bigger than in 2023 – 2 million 243.4 thousand ha.

Based on preliminary revised data, in 2024, the economic output of agricultural activities amounted to EUR 3,98 billion and, compared to 2023, increased by 0.3 per cent.
