On 8 July, the 2^nd meeting of the European Statistical System (ESS) Task Force on the 3^rd peer review takes place at Statistics Lithuania. The meeting is focused on the discussions on criteria for the selection of peer review experts, on how to ensure the comparability of peer review reports, on a communication strategy on the peer reviews.

Peer reviews are part of the ESS strategy to implement the European Statistics Code of Practice. Their objective is to enhance the integrity, independence and accountability of the statistical authorities which make up the ESS.
