On 6–9 May, within the framework of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) Programme 2015, Statistics Lithuania hosts a visit of specialists of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia. The aim of the visit is to share experience in use of additional information for preparation of sample plan and calculation of estimates in statistical surveys on business. During the study visit, the way the statistical surveys on investment, industry and trade are carried out as well as how additional information from other sources can be used to optimize and improve the survey accuracy was presented to the guests. The sample coordination, data editing and entering will be also discussed during the visit. With the help of specialists of Statistics Lithuania, practical exercises and modelling experiments will be carried out.
