In 2025, the crude birth rate (the number of live births per 1,000 population) stood at 6.1 (in 2024, 6.6). 

At the end of 2025, the state social insurance old-age pension gap for women and men accounted for 12.7 per cent, or 0.9 percentage point lower than in the same period of 2024.

In 2025, compared to 2024, the number of certified organic production farms in Lithuania increased by 11.69 per cent, and amounted to 3,182 units. Certified area in them increased by 12.51 per cent.

Based on provisional data, at the beginning of July 2026, 2 million 886 thousand residents were living in Lithuania, which is by 2 thousand less than at the beginning of the 2026.

In 2024, the number of enterprise groups in Lithuania totalled 7,550, which is by 1.15 per cent more compared to 2023.
