Changes in statistical information publication 2022

Resident population at the beginning of 2021 and the related population indicators were revised based on the results of the 2021 Population and Housing Census of the Republic of Lithuania. Statistical information will be updated on 30 August 2022.

  • Order No DĮ-175 of 18 August 2022 “On the amendment of Order No DI-335 of 15 December 2021 of the Director General of Statistics Lithuania on the approval of the Official Statistics Portal Calendar 2022”

Due to delay in the submission of statistical data by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, statistical information on specialized assistance centers and persons who have experienced domestic violence and have received specialized comprehensive assistance will be provided on 1 July 2022.


From 16 June 2021, statistical data on persons whose activities have or have not been limited due to health problems and who are facing housing problems, as well as the level of housing deprivation for persons whose activities have or have not been limited due to health problems will be provided every 3 years.


Publication “Migration Yearbook 2021”, annual and monthly statistics on asylum seekers will be published in June.

Due to the changes in the methodologies of the surveys on international and internal migration, the statistical information is provided to the users later, i.e. on 29 April 2022.

We are unable to provide timely statistical data on refugees as all resources are being devoted to work related to the emergency situation due to the war in Ukraine. The information will be published on 31 March.


Due to the declared emergency in the country, information on refugees will be delayed. The information will be published on 15 March.

 

Changes in statistical information publication 2021

The Migration Department will not be able to submit the statistical information on asylum seekers on 14 September. The information is expected to be published by the end of September.

Due to the revised general government finance indicators 2020, which had significant influence on GDP for IV quarter 2020 and components thereof, the information about the changes are provided to the users earlier, i.e. on 27 April 2021.
