We would like to inform you that due to technical issues the final indicators of the 2024 sales revenue structure of business service enterprises will be published not on 29 May, as previously scheduled, but on 5 June.

In 2025, 47.6 thousand people immigrated to Lithuania, which is by 4.2 thousand (8.1 per cent) less than in 2024.

In I quarter 2026, average gross hourly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) totalled EUR 15.85 and, against I quarter 2025, increased by 10.9 per cent: in the public sector, amounted to EUR 16.61, and increased by 10.7 per cent, in the private sector – EUR 15.52, and increased by 11 per cent.

In June 2026, the minimum monthly wage is EUR 1,153, the minimum hourly pay – EUR 7.05.

At the end of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024:

45,000 km of gravel roads were constructed – the figure has remained unchanged.
EUR 1 billion was allocated for road construction, reconstruction, and maintenance – by EUR 117 million or 10.1 per cent less.
The largest number of bicycle paths was built in Plungė District Municipality (36.4 km) and Kaunas District Municipality (18.6 km).

At the end of 2025, the number of newly registered passenger cars totalled 1 million 817 thousand, that is by 87 thousand, or 5 per cent, more than in the same period in 2024.
