In 2024, compared with the previous year, carbon dioxide (excluding emissions from biomass) emissions into the atmosphere increased by 22.6 per cent, and amounted to 18,976.5 thousand tonnes.

In 2025, 166,146 thousand tonnes of nitrogen fertilisers were used for fertilising agricultural crops in Lithuania. 

In August 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, purchase prices of agricultural products increased by 7.7 per cent.

Purchase prices for crop products increased by 13.2 per cent, while those for livestock and livestock products decreased by 17 per cent.

In August 2026, compared to July 2026, construction input prices increased by 0.9 per cent.

In II quarter 2026, the number of outbound tourists totalled 550 thousand, or by 11.8 per cent more than in the same period of 2025.
