In II quarter 2026, the average state social insurance old-age pension amounted to EUR 746 or, compared to the same period in 2025, increased by 11.6 per cent.

In 2025, there were 15 juveniles suspected (charged with) of committing criminal offenses in groups of juveniles, representing a 50 per cent increase compared to 2024. The number of juveniles who committed criminal offenses together with adults increased by 42.9 per cent and reached 20 individuals.

In 2025, searches were announced for 544 children, which was by 5.4 per cent fewer than in 2024. 

In July 2026, there were 342 road traffic accidents in which people were injured, which is by 3.6 per cent more than in the same period of 2025, accordingly, by 8.1 per cent more injured, by 45.5 per cent more deaths.

In II quarter 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, the share of cargo transported by rail transport increased by 11.9 per cent, the cargo transport turnover grew by 12.3 per cent.
