We would like to inform you that due to technical issues the publication date of the 2026 preliminary at-risk-of-poverty and absolute poverty indicators has been postponed from the scheduled July 30 to August 18.

Please be informed that, due to the testing of the newly implemented Sports Register Information System and the data collection process, the publication date of sports statistics has been rescheduled from 17 July to 17 September.

In 2024, compared to 2023, the value added created in the tourism sector increased by 13.7 per cent.

In 2025, average sales–purchase price of flats totalled EUR 1,880.13 per sq. m., houses – EUR 870.66 per sq. m.

In 2025, the highest average annual rent price for flat was recorded in Vilnius, and totalled EUR 155.09 per sq. m.

At the end of June 2026, the debt of the central government amounted to EUR 38.5 billion and, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, increased by 20.8 per cent.

In II quarter 2026, compared with the same period in 2025, the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products increased by 4.9 per cent., their turnover grew by 7 per cent.
