Statistics Lithuania joined the institutions having children’s rooms.

We have refurbished the premises of our Information Centre located on the ground floor and arranged a room for children of our employees. As provided by the Labour Code, this provides a possibility to reconcile work with family responsibilities. Children will be able to play board games, do homework and creative activities under the supervision of their parents. Among our employees, there are many young women having children; therefore, the possibility to bring children to work, especially during school holidays or after school, is particularly relevant.

The new Information Centre will have 3 employees who will provide consultations on statistical indicators. One of the spaces is also intended for hosting small events, discussions, conferences, training sessions and meetings with persons interested in statistics.
