Among other priorities The State Data Agency strategy for 2023–2027 focuses on the 3rd direction “Ensure symbiotic partnership“, which envisages active participation in the development of the global statistics and EU legislative process, strengthening of communication and cooperation on the global arena / international scale, and sharing of best practices thereof.
Technical workshop on agriculture statistics for Eastern European, Caucasus and Central Asia countries
Implementing the EU-funded project “Support for the promotion of the EU’s statistical legislation and statistical standards in the countries of Eastern Partnership and Central Asia”, GOPA Consultants (Germany), in cooperation with consortium partner Statistics Lithuania, at Statistics Lithuania, on 2-3 July, organise a technical workshop on agriculture statistics for Eastern European, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) countries.
Experts from Eurostat, the Polish Statistical Office and Statistics Lithuania present EU requirements for agriculture statistics, share their experience in implementing such requirements, use of administrative data, data collection methods, such as CATI, CAPI, CAWI, sampling frame in FSS surveys, its construction, updating and its relation with survey characteristics. EECCA countries share their experience on producing agriculture statistics.
