At the end of April 2024, the number of passenger cars newly registered in our country totalled 11,922, that is by 788, or 7.1 per cent more than in the same period in 2023.

In April 2024, the number of overnight stays in the accommodation establishments totalled 571.2 thousand, which is by 0.1 per cent less than in the same period of 2023.
Against April 2024, consumer confidence varied widely between age groups, with 21 for 16–29 year olds and 1 for those 65 and older (in April, 16 and minus 2 respectively).
In 2023, average gross hourly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) totalled EUR 12.11 and, against 2022, increased by 12.3 per cent

In I quarter 2024, average gross (before employee taxes) monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) totalled EUR 2,161 and, compared to IV quarter 2023, increased by 2.4 per cent: in the public sector, average gross monthly earnings totalled EUR 2,249.6 (decreased by 2.1 per cent), in the private sector – EUR 2,124.6 (increased by 4.5 per cent).

Based on provisional data, in April 2024, industrial production totalled EUR 2.9 billion at current prices and, compared to March 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 4 per cent at constant prices.
