In April 2024, against the same period of 2023, the amount of organic raw milk (actual fat content) purchased increased by 6.53 per cent, the price – by 9.26 per cent.

In I quarter 2024, compared to the same period in 2023, the share of cargo transported by road transport increased by 15.8, cargo transport turnover – 8.8 per cent.

2024-05-27 Earnings in the country Over I quarter 2024, gross earnings in the whole economy increased by 2.4 per cent. In I quarter 2024, average gross (before employee taxes) monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) totalled EUR 2,161 and, compared to IV quarter 2023, increased by 2.4 per cent: in the public sector, average gross monthly earnings totalled EUR 2,249.6 (decreased by 2.1 per cent), in the private sector – EUR 2,124.6 (increased by 4.5 per cent).

Based on provisional data, in April 2024, industrial production totalled EUR 2.9 billion at current prices and, compared to March 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 4 per cent at constant prices.

In 2023, average gross monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises included) totalled EUR 2,013.8 and, compared to 2022, increased by 12.6 per cent: in the public sector, average gross monthly earnings totalled EUR 2,115.6 (increased by 13.1 per cent), in the private sector – EUR 1,973.1 (increased by 12.4 per cent).

2024-05-10 Changes in prices for industrial production sold In April 2024, against March, prices for the total industrial production sold and refined petroleum products excluded remained the same. The overall price change was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for chemicals and chemical products (1.4 per cent), as well as by a decrease in prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (1.9 per cent).
