On 4–5 July 2017, Statistics Lithuania is hosting the second technical workshop on European statistics for the EECCA countries, organised by Expertise France and Statistics Lithuania. This workshop is a follow-up of the second meeting of the Eastern Partnership’s Statistics Panel, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, in October 2015, dedicated to the EU legislation (acquis) in the area of labour market statistics.

The purpose of this workshop is to briefly present the European acquis in the area of labour statistics and to discuss how the EECCA countries use European and other international standards to produce labour market statistics and the challenges they encounter.

16 participants from the EECCA countries, experts from Eurostat, Statistics Sweden, ONS UK and Statistics Lithuania take part in the workshop.
