With the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the first Ukrainians who withdrew from aggression have reached Lithuania. Data on persons in need of assistance are particularly necessary for institutions and public organizations that coordinate and provide such assistance. The State Data Governance Information System (SDG IS) is capable of processing operative, rapidly changing data and presenting it to decision makers in a convenient form. Data is updated daily. Data source – the Lithuanian Migration Information System and other state information systems.

Currently, data on Ukrainian war refugees can only be seen and analyzed by representatives of the authorities responsible for organizing services for refugees. In the nearest future, we are planning to prepare newsletters with summary information for non-governmental organizations, and scoreboards with key indicators for the public, as well as to publish summary analytical information.
