In July 2024, the amount of goods handled in Klaipėda State Seaport and Būtingė Terminal totalled 3.4 million tonnes and, compared to the respective period of 2023, increased by 12.5 per cent.

In II quarter 2024, compared to the same period in 2023, passenger transport by all modes of transport increased by 1.8, the turnover of passenger transport – 11.9 per cent.

In 2024, 90.4 per cent of households had internet access at home, in 2023, 88.6 per cent. In urban areas, 92.7 per cent of households had internet access at home, in rural areas – 85.3 per cent.
