In II quarter 2024, against the same period of 2023, the volume of goods carried by all modes of transport increased by 12.7 per cent, tonne-kilometres – by 2.4 per cent.

In II quarter 2024, average gross monthly earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises included) totalled EUR 2,183.6.

In 2023, EUR 297.7 million support was provided in Lithuania, which is by 12.7 per cent less than in 2022.

Based on provisional data, at the beginning of September 2024, 2 million 894 thousand residents were living in Lithuania, which is by 8 thousand more than at the beginning of the 2024.

In II quarter 2024, against I quarter 2024, the average number of employees in the whole economy (individual enterprises excluded) increased by 2.7 thousand (0.2 per cent).

The estimate was obtained through application of econometric models based on available statistical data. Compared to I quarter 2024, the real GDP change, seasonally and calendar adjusted, was positive and stood at 0.7 per cent.
