As of 1 January 2025, the number of cattle grown in the country stood at 599.8 thousand (a year-on-year decrease of 3.81 per cent).

In I quarter 2025, the amount of passenger transport by inland waterways totalled 349.4 thousand, which is by 5.6 per cent less than in the same period in 2024, the amount of cargo transported totalled 278.2 thousand, or by 10.3 per cent less.

2025-05-12 Changes in prices for industrial production sold Prices for the total industrial production sold decreased for the second consecutive month – in April 2025, against March 2025, by 1.9 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – 1 per cent. The overall price change was mainly influenced by a decrease in prices for refined petroleum products (6.3 per cent), as well as by increase in prices for food products (0.5 per cent).
