In 2024, based on provisional data, average gross monthly earnings, individual enterprises included, in the whole economy amounted to EUR 2,218.4 and, compared to 2023, increased by 10.2 per cent.

In December 2024, the number of overnight stays in the accommodation establishments totalled 568.3 thousand and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 3.7 per cent.

Compared to January 2024, the economic sentiment indicator increased by 6.8 percentage points. The services confidence indicator increased by 17.8, construction – 3, consumer – 2.7, retail trade – 2.4, industry – 1.6 percentage points.

In December 2024, against the same period in 2023, the amount of organic raw milk (actual fat content) purchased decreased by 11.8 per cent, while the price increased by 24.45 per cent.

In November 2024, the turnover (VAT excluded) of service enterprises amounted to EUR 3 billion 615 million at current prices.

2025-01-10 Changes in prices for industrial production sold In December 2024, against November, prices for the total industrial production sold increased by 0.5 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – by 0.4 per cent. The overall price change was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.1 per cent), as well as by a decrease in prices for fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (0.3 per cent).
