Based on the data of the Labour Force Survey, in IV quarter 2024, the employment rate of the population aged 20–64 accounted for 79.6 per cent and, compared to III quarter 2024, decreased by 0.1 percentage point.

Based on provisional data, at the beginning of February 2025, 2 million 890 thousand residents were living in Lithuania, which is by 0.7 thousand less than at the beginning of 2025.

In 2024, cereal harvest amounted to 6,197.1 thousand tonnes and, compared to 2023, increased by 3.3 per cent. The increase in yield was driven by a 3 per cent rise in productivity.

In February 2025, the minimum monthly wage is EUR 1,038, the minimum hourly pay – EUR 6.35.

 In 2024, there were 3,501 persons suspected (accused) of committing domestic violence crimes (by 19.2 per cent less than in 2023), of whom men accounted for 85 per cent.
