Income and living conditions of the population of Lithuania (edition 2019)

The publication provides information from the Survey on Income and Living Conditions carried out in 2018 on household income and its distribution among various population groups. Together with information on income and housing arrangements, the opinion of the population on the quality of housing, economic difficulties and their burden, possibility to satisfy certain needs and health is presented. The publication also presents at-risk-of-poverty and material deprivation indicators, calculated according to the methodology applied in the European Union.

In the survey carried out in 2018, information on income is collected for the year 2017, other indicators – for the survey year (2018).

We gratefully acknowledge the contribution of all households which participated in the survey, interviewers, supervisors and others who helped to conduct the survey and prepare the publication.

As in other electronic publications of Statistics Lithuania, this publication not only presents the statistical indicators but also allows the readers to examine them in more detail: the sources present the tables having longer time series with the possibility to supplement them with new dimensions, etc. All graphic material can be downloaded and used for own purposes by indicating the source.

Statistical information is prepared based on the data of statistical surveys carried out by Statistics Lithuania and administrative sources.
