On 13 October, Statistics Lithuania and Vytautas Magnus University signed an agreement on cooperation in the scientific, educational and social partnership areas: preparation and implementation of research, initiation and implementation of common projects, sharing of information, organization of practice for the students of Vytautas Magnus University, organization and participation in scientific- practical conferences and seminars, participation in the activities of research infrastructures, and implementation of other activities complying with the activities and interests of both parties.

This is the third agreement signed between Statistics Lithuania and institution of higher education.  Statistics Lithuania has already signed a cooperation agreement with Kaunas University of Technology and Vilnius University.
