The staff of the Central Project Management Agency planted 1598 little oaks in Ukmergė District – to commemorate the successful completion of EU-funded projects. In the future oak wood, there is an oak tree for the Official Statistics Portal.

The Agency planted a 64-are oak wood – to memorialise the positive impact of project results. For each of the 1598 projects completed, a young oak was planted, symbolising the longevity and long-term benefits of the projects for each inhabitant of the country.

The Official Statistics Portal project was implemented in 2012–2014. It is one of the key projects of Statistics Lithuania, covering the application of complex database technologies, geographic information systems and other innovative solutions for the dissemination of statistical information.
