In 2022, 2 actual strikes were organised. In I quarter 2022, strike was organised by employees of the enterprise engaged in manufacturing, in IV quarter 2022 – by employees of the enterprise engaged in transportation and storage activity.

Participants who went on this strike in manufacturing indicated the following reasons for their protest: disagreements on salary, working hours, a remuneration system to be established in the collective agreement, etc.

Employees of the transportation and storage enterprise who went on the actual strike indicated the following reasons for their protest: disagreements regarding the conclusion of a new collective agreement, remuneration system, etc.

Since 2000, when statistical information on strikes started to be collected, until the end of 2022, 1,374 strikes (of which 739 warning and 635 actual strikes) were organised. In 2021 and 2020, no strikes were organised. Over the said period, the largest number of strikes (99.2 per cent) – was recorded in education.
