At the beginning of 2021, the median age of the popu­la­­tion of Lithuania was 44 years (for men – 40 years, for women – 48), i.e. by 4 years longer than at the beginning of 2010 (for men – by 3 years, for women – by 5). At the beginning of 2021, the median age of men was by 8 years shorter than that of women (at the beginning of 2010, by 6 years).
