In 2023, 77 per cent of households had personal computers, 89 per cent – Internet access at home (in 2022, 80 and 88 per cent respectively). In urban areas, households having computers and the Internet access at home accounted for 81 and 91 per cent respectively, in rural areas – 67 and 82 per cent respectively.
As regards households with children, 97 per cent of them had personal computers, 100 per cent – the Internet access, those without children – 71 and 85 per cent respectively.

Business
At the beginning of 2023, all manufacturing and service enterprises having 10 and more employees used computers and the Internet. Fixed Internet connection was used by 96.5 per cent of enterprises.
The Internet becomes faster: download speed of more than 500 Mbit/s was used by 30.9 per cent of enterprises.

At the beginning of 2023, the Internet was used for daily work at least once a week by 64.3 per cent of persons employed. The Internet was used for daily activities by 97 per cent of the persons employed in information and communication, 92.7 per cent – in professional, scientific and technical activities. The Internet was used by 72.1 per cent of employees of large, 63.7 per cent – medium-sized, and 55.9 per cent – small-sized enterprises.

Websites and mobile apps
At the beginning of 2023, 76.5 per cent of enterprises had websites: almost all (97.1 per cent) large enterprises (having more than 250 employees), 91.1 per cent – medium-sized enterprises, and three out of four (72.6 per cent) small-sized enterprises (having 10–49 employees). 63.9 per cent of enterprises published catalogues and pricelists of their products on their websites, 19.8 per cent – offered an opportunity to order products or services via the Internet, 13.3 per cent – allowed the delivery tracking online, 39.9 per cent – provided website content in at least two languages.

At the beginning of 2023, 3.7 per cent of enterprises had a mobile app for clients: 13.9 per cent – in large enterprises, 5.8 per cent – in medium-sized enterprises, 2.9 per cent – in small-sized enterprises.

At the beginning of 2023, 39 per cent of enterprises paid to advertise on the Internet. 28.2 per cent of enterprises paid for advertising based on web page content or keywords that the users searched for, 14.5 per cent – for advertising based on monitoring of the Internet user activity or profile, 17.3 per cent – for advertising based on geolocation of the Internet users.
