Physical and sensory functional limitations

 

In order to assess the impact of health disorders and functional limitations on a person’s daily life, the respondents were asked about their ability to see, hear, and move.

 

45 per cent of population (women – 49 per cent, men – 39 per cent) had at least one physical and sensory functional limitation.

In the 15–24 age group, 27 per cent of women and 22 per cent of men had at least one physical and sensory functional limitation, in the 45–64 age group – 45 and 43 per cent respectively, while among population aged 65 and older – 80 and 74 per cent respectively.
