In 2022, gross agricultural production in agricultural companies and enterprises totalled EUR 1,246.9 million at current prices. Animal production amounted to EUR 681.9 million and, compared to 2021, increased by 46.4 per cent. Crop production totalled EUR 565.0 million (by 52.8 per cent more than in 2021).

In 2022, sales income of agricultural companies (enterprises) totalled EUR 1.7 billion and, against 2021, increased by 29.4 per cent. Other (atypical) activity income increased by 29.5 per cent and amounted to EUR 103.6 million.

In 2022, gross profit of agricultural companies (enterprises) amounted to EUR 345.2 million and, compared to 2021, increased by 196 per cent. Profit (loss) before tax totalled EUR 239.4 million.

In 2022, compared to 2021, selling costs of agricultural companies (enterprises) increased by 19.2 per cent and totalled EUR 1.4 billion. In 2021, other (atypical) activity costs amounted to EUR 47.3 million.
