In 2020, one in three (34 per cent) persons aged 16–74 (41 per cent of internauts) used storage space on the Internet to save documents, pictures, music, video or other files. In four years, the number of persons using such storage space grew by 9 percentage points. Storage space on the Internet to save documents, pictures, music, video and other files was mostly used by persons aged 16–24 (64 per cent).

At the beginning of 2020, 30.8 per cent of enterprises purchased cloud computing services (in 2019, 22.6 per cent). Email – as a cloud computing service – was used by 24, office software – 15.6, database hosting – 15.1, storage of files – 17.7, finance and accounting software – 13.5, customer relationship management software – 7.4, ensuring IT capacity for the functioning of own software – 12.3 per cent of enterprises.
