In 2020, 1,266 Lithuanian-controlled enterprises abroad carried out economic activity in Lithuania, and earned EUR 9.4 billion income. They employed over 64 thousand employees. 

The majority of Lithuanian-controlled enterprises were in Latvia (372 enterprises), Poland (157), Estonia (153),  Belarus (104), Russia (79), Ukraine (61) and Sweden (42).
