In 2021, gross agricultural production at current prices in agricultural companies and enterprises totalled EUR 835.5 million. Animal production amounted to EUR 465.8 million and, compared to 2020, increased by 5.6 per cent. Crop production totalled EUR 369.7 million (by 0.2 per cent less than in 2020).

In 2021, sales income of agricultural companies (enterprises) totalled EUR 1.3 billion and, against 2020, increased by 9.7 per cent. Other (atypical) activity income increased by 4.8 per cent and amounted to EUR 80.0 million.

In 2021, gross profit of agricultural companies (enterprises) amounted to EUR 175.8 million and, compared to 2020, increased by 45.0 per cent. Profit (loss) before tax totalled EUR 48.3 million.

In 2021, compared to 2020, selling costs of agricultural companies (enterprises) increased by 5.8 per cent and totalled EUR 1.1 billion. In 2020, other (atypical) activity costs amounted to EUR 46.1 million.
